     Purchasing a home is a very serious and a big consideration for all of us. This is because it is one of the biggest investments we will be making in our life time. all of us would've a cherished dream inside of us of how our new home should look. Many people have different designs and style in their mind for their dream home. There are many factors that need to be considered about our dream home. The main factors that need to be looked upon are the cost of the home, its size, your requirement, and the legal proceedings. 

     Before proceeding further, you have to define for yourself about what it is exactly that you will be expecting from the house, like whether you need parking, a garden, how many bedrooms you need, if it's a flat, or a single independent home, how big the room space you need to accommodate your family members, its interior designs as well as exteriors, and lot more. So here are a few guidelines for you while the decision making process.

       By far this is the most important criteria for buying your dream home. You have to really evaluate your funding options based on your income. So take great care in deciding how much cost, you are willing to spend on the house. If you are looking to buy a property on home loan, it’s extremely critical for you to choose a reputed bank that offers competitive interest rates on the mortgage. Search the market for the best available deal and maximize your borrowing power. But don't stretch to more than you can comfortably meet in monthly repayments.

Location 
     Make sure the location of the new house is convenient for you to travel thus avoiding the maddening traffic and it should be neared to bus stops, schools retail stores, healthcare facilities and so on.

Legal issues 
      This is one area you need to employ your due diligence where legal matters are concerned. Be very alert and conscious to read the contract and try to understand what exactly the contents of the contract say. Always have a second opinion with real estate professionals and any lawyer who is well versed in reading the property documents, because it’s better to be informed than be sorry.

Be informed and up-to-date
     Please talk to your builder and ask as many questions as possible and be an informed customer. Be aware of the local laws prevailing in that location and always but a home from a reputed builder for they would be doing the business on a ethical platform. If the builder has already completed building the home and some of the units are sold, then go and talk to the residents and esquire about the quality of the materials that was used by the builder to build it. Ask for feedback about the builder. Residents living in a good quality home will definitely give you a positive feedback.
